BMPAA Electronic Recycling Event

Recycle your old electronics and help the Beverly High School Music Department

The Beverly High School Music Department will host its third annual electronic recycling event on Saturday, November 4 from 8 a.m. to noon at the BHS parking lot. For a fee, drop off your old electronics at the BHS parking lot. Recycle your unwanted televisions, air conditioners, appliances, phones, fire extinguishers and much more. Proceeds will support the music department. If you wish to have items picked up, or have questions, please email: bmpaarecycling@gmail.com or call 978-712-8146 and leave a message.

Wolfstock at Wolf Hollow

Bring the whole family to Wolf Hollows annual live Reggae concert featuring award winning Reggae Band Jah Spirit! This concert is an annual fundraiser for Wolf Hollow. Great food is available from food trucks and beer and soda will be pouring from Ipswich Ale Brewery's Tapmobile. Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy face painting, food vendors, and viewing of the wolves.

5th Annual Fashion of Change Event to Support Change is Simple

Change is Simple fundraiser

Change is Simple, Inc., a local nonprofit dedicated to inspiring lifelong social and environmental responsibility in children, will hold its 5th annual annual Fashion of Change fundraiser on Saturday, September 30th at Cell Signaling Technology in Danvers, MA.

This year’s event theme, ‘It All Adds Up’ highlights how small changes to our daily habits can have large impacts on our overall environmental impact. This summer, local students who have been a part of Change is Simple Programming in schools, are working in collaboration with Artcie Studios in Hamilton to design a piece that brings to life these simple solutions - and their impact.  The design will be unveiled by the students on the night of the event.

Wylinn’s Wish Foundation Ice Cream Fun Run

Wylinn's Wish Foundation Ice Cream Fun Run and 5k at Topsfield Fairgrounds

Wylinn’s Wish Foundation is hosting an ICE CREAM FUN RUN on Sunday, June 4 at the Topsfield Fairgrounds. Registration will be at 9a.m. but the main event is a 5k run/walk, beginning at 11a.m., offering participants of all ages and abilities to race competitively or just enjoy the opportunity to come together for some fitness and fun. There will also be a kid’s run, providing the younger attendees with their own event. Following the race will be an after party, which will include a free ice cream cone for each participant.  If you register prior to the day of the event, it is $35 for the 5k race and $20 for the kid’s fun run. Day of the race registration is $40 for the 5k race and the kid’s fun run remains the same price.

Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast

The Beverly Kiwanis Annual Green Eggs and Ham Dinner will be held at the Italian Community Center in Beverly!

You Would Not, Could Not ! miss a celebration such as this! That's right, the Kiwanis Club of Beverly is hosting it's annual community GREEN EGGS AND HAM breakfast at the ICC In Beverly!  Come and enjoy green eggs and ham (and regular eggs for the Sams out there!) and pancakes! Get your face painted and have photos with the Cat in the Hat. Kids go home with balloons and books - it's a much-loved event - you don't want to miss it!

Send Off to Carnegie Hall Concert!

Orchestra On the Hill joins the Ipswich High School Orchestra for a send off concert to celebrate their paritcipation in the National Band and Orchestra Festival!

The Ipswich High School Orchestra under the gifted leadership of Michael Coelho has received an incredible honor and opportunity. The Honors Chamber Orchestra has been invited to perform at the National Band and Orchestra Festival at Carnegie Hall in New York City this April! This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for the kids and the first time in the school’s history that this has happened.

The Phillips Academy Music Department will sponsor its annual holiday concert featuring excerpts from Handel's oratorio. a Fundraiser for Neighbors in Need and the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.

The Phillips Academy Music Department will sponsor its 28th annual holiday concert presenting excerpts from Handel's Oratorio, Messiah featuring the Phillips Academy Community Chorus and the Academy Chamber Players under the direction of Christopher Walter. Soloists will be Shannon Canavin, PA '91, soprano; Krista River, mezzo-soprano; Eric Christopher Perry, tenor; and Donald Wilkinson, bass.
