Part of the Thursday Night Picnic Concerts at Castle Hill at the Crane Estate in Ipswich, this is a great way to get together and have fun with the whole family in an exclusive setting. Beantown Swing invites you to dance and party with the 18-piece orchestra as they perform their 14th annual outdoor concert on the steps of the majestic Crane Estate mansion in front of a half-mile lawn that stretches out to the ocean above Crane's Beach. There will be a beginner swing dance lesson from 6 to 7pm (no partner or experience required). The band plays from 7 to 9pm.

The Greater Newburyport Children's Chorus is holding open auditions for singers currently in grades 4-8. The auditions are held in groups of up to 4 singers and do not require any musical preparation. Singers will be asked to sing familiar tunes, such as 'Happy Birthday'. No music preparation is needed - we make it a comfortable, low stress process. Walk-ins are welcome, or you can register for a specific time slot on the website - www.gncchorus.org.
The Phillips Academy Department of Music will present a Service of Lessons and Carols—rooted in the tradition of King’s College of Cambridge, England. This service is presented by the chaplaincy and Department of Music. Traditional Christmas readings and carols will be performed in addition to Benjamin Britten’s Ceremony of Carols with guest harpist, Caroline Mellott.
