Walk through the Crane Wildlife Refuge in Ipswich with the Trustes of Reservatio

Join The Trustees of Reservations on a stargazing adventure for the whole family! Hike down the Cedar Point trail to Steep Hill Beach - and bring a blanket so you can stretch out in the sand for optimal viewing as darkness falls. If we're lucky, we might see an earthgrazer - a long-tailed, meteor slowly traveling horizontally across the evening sky. Perseid earthgrazers only appear early to mid-evening, when the radiant point of the shower is close to the horizon. Though the best time to observe the meteor shower is just before dawn, we'll hope to catch a good number of falling stars before we end our evening with s'mores and lemonade around a bonfire.
