The Georgetown Massachusetts Library's LEGO club is a drop-in family affair!

Georgetown Public Library invites families and kids of all ages to participate in the library Lego Club. The library will be supply a large amount of LEGOs and an idea of what to create. Participants can work together as a group or individually to design a masterpiece. The LEGOs stay in the library on display for a couple of weeks.  In accordance with library policy parents are required to stay in the building in case of emergency.

Preschoolers will learn about the birds of Spring at Joppa Flats Education Cente

This parent/child program is designed for the creative, curious, and active preschooler. Each 90-minute session offers a structured series of activities including original songs, movement, dramatic play, hands-on science, and a thematic snack. You'll receive coloring pages, song lyrics, vocabulary, a fun fact sheet, and a suggested reading list in an electronic goody bag! This months ISL will focus on the birds of Spring!

The Manchester Memorial PTO is gearing up for the annual "Hit the Street for Little Feet" 5K Road Race and 1M Fun Run. The 5k race route which goes throughout picturesque Manchester-by-the-Sea will precede the 1-mile Fun Run. Following the races, participants are invited to enjoy a community celebration featuring a raffle drawing with many great prizes, fun family activities and entertainment.

 

The Happy as a Clam Road Race invites children and families to race in Essex

The Happy as a Clam 5k, Family Fun Run & Wellness Fair is a yearly event that's filled with fun for both kids and adults. There will be a 5k road race and a 1 mile family fun run. Whole families are encouraged to do the fun run. There will be medals given to all children under 12 yrs. old and there will be family prizes as well.

The Trustees of Reservations invites you to bring the family for a celebration of spring’s arrival at Long Hill and Sedgwick Gardens. The annual Gloucester Pride Stride raises money for Cape Ann non-profits!

The Gloucester Pride Stride is an annual fundraiser walk that helps the non-profits organizations around Cape Ann. Walkers collect sponsorships for their favorite organization, then walk the 5 mile route through downtown Gloucester starting and ending at Stage Fort Park. Come join the fun, have a healthy walk and help your community!

Wenham Museum summer programs are just about full. If you plan to send your child to one or more of their fantastic programs, reserve your place asap.

History Alive Summer programs are unique to the North Shore, giving children the opportunity to step back and experience life, learning, and play during different periods in history. Children will have fun pitching a Civil War dog tent, cooking authentic foods, reenacting historic events, or playing games of the period.

Glen Urquhart School Summer Program

The GUS summer program has a long-standing tradition of combining educational, hands-on workshops with easygoing summertime fun for children ages 4 to 15. The atmosphere is noncompetitive, creative, inquisitive, playful, and relaxed. We offer one and two-week sessions, with half and full-day options. Pre-registration is required for all programs. Hours are 7:45 AM–5:00 PM. Camp begins June 24 and ends August 2. We will be closed on Thursday, July 4.
