Williwaw Adventures is a wilderness travel program for ages 12-17+ (grouped by age). Expeditions combine kayaking, backpacking, sailing and whitewater rafting and range from 8 to 23 days.

Williwaw has been creating unique adventures for young adults since 2001. Our goal is to provide a safe, supportive and meaningful wilderness experience for our participants. Whether backpacking in the White Mountains or sailing the coast of Maine, we spend quality time developing outdoor skills, while focusing on creating a positive group experience in a non-competitive, nurturing environment.

Our Instructors work diligently to create an environment that progressively challenges and allows for success. Under the guidance of their Instructors, participants accept more responsibility as the trip progresses - taking real ownership of their experience. Whether serving as leader of the day, navigating, or planning and cooking meals, students are directly involved with the daily operations and success of the expedition.

Every Williwaw expedition offers its students unparalleled opportunities for personal growth, as they accept leadership roles, step up to challenges and serve as the members of a close-knit team. Living and working with a group is an important skill that is naturally developed in the wilderness or at sea. With the group, participants learn the importance of relying on each other and of being a part of a team.

Call us anytime, we are open 7 days a week to answer your questions.
