Dreams and Dances live performance at Waring School in Beverly Massachusetts
Celebrating the creativity and expression in all of us with a family-friendly, multimedia performance by Arpeggione Ensemble. "Dreams and Dances” will take listeners of all ages on a journey through enchanted forests and countryside with music and dance. Arpeggione’s musicians will be performing Beethoven’s “Pastoral” Symphony and excerpts from Mendelssohn’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” on instruments from the early 19th century. NYC-based choreographer and dancer Julian Donahue will be joined by two other dancers to bring these dreams to life.

Emma Andrews Library and Community Center invites you to the library for their annual fundraising plant sale!   As you are contemplating your gardens and find an excess of plants or plants that need dividing, please donate them to us. Plants may be dropped off in the backyard of the Emma at 77 Purchase Street on Friday, May 31. And then, come join us on Saturday, June 1 to find wonderful offerings for your garden. All proceeds go to fund the general expenses to keep the library running.

Student creations will include wall-sized drawings, sculptures with wood and found objects, as well as a combination of printmaking, photography, and magazine collage. We will look at the mixed mediums of Robert Rauschenberg, the cutting-edge pieces by the Twentieth Century’s greatest master of collage, Kurt Schwitters, and the crazy upside-down world of Julian Schnabel as we make and manipulate an artful array of free associations.
