The Cape Ann Vernal Pond Team was established and began locating and certifying vernal ponds in 1990 as a joint venture with the New England Herpetological Society. In 2006 CAVPT became a Federal 501(c)3 non-profit organization.

The main campus and headquarters of Gordon-Conwell is located on 118 acres of rolling hills and winding lanes in South Hamilton, Massachusetts on Boston's historic North Shore. The main campus is made up of 13 buildings which includes expanded seminary housing, apartments, a learning center, the Goddard library, chapel and a 41,000 square foot modern academic center that houses the Ockenga Institute and the Doctor of Ministry Program.

Cape Ann Art Haven is a community space where artists of all ages and abilities are encouraged to develop creativity and confidence through hands on learning and collaboration. At Art Haven, we aim to provide opportunities for children of all ages to have a place to exercise their artistic talents.

The Joppa Flats Education Center is located at the gateway to one of the country’s most productive, year-round, wildlife viewing areas—the Parker River National Wildlife Refuge and the Plum Island estuary. Highlights for visitors are the many species of birds, mammals and sea life that utilize the area’s extensive salt marshes, mudflats, rivers, bays, and coastal waters.
