Wenham Museum’s 22nd Annual Model Railroad and Toy Hobby Show

Train and model railroad enthusiasts won’t want to miss Wenham Museum’s 22nd Annual Model Railroad and Toy Hobby Show featuring many dealer tables where you can buy, swap and sell everything from equipment and memorabilia to toys, books, and photographs. Visit the museum to see a special model train layout created by NMRA Hub Division Modular Railroad Group on display for the annual show only!

Weekend Belaying Class for Parents

Ensure you child's safety while rock climbing by learning how to belay properly.

The La Vida Rock Gym invites parents to learn how to belay! Belaying refers to a variety of techniques used in climbing to exert friction on a climbing rope to ensure the safety of the climber and to ensure that  a falling climber does not fall very far. If you have a child interested in rock climbing and find yourself nervously watching as your child climbs, take this course!  It will enable you to become the belayer and you will be able to identify unsafe belaying proceedures when somebody else is holding the rope!

Try your hand at this 100 year old summer past time. If you enjoy these models, visit the museum’s miniature world of trains and dollhouses with special museum admission pricing for Trails and Sails participants.
