Ignite your imagination this summer at Annisquam Arts!  Crazy Cool Collage Clip, cut, collect, compose, and collage creative constructions and assemblages made from a variety of materials. Student creations will include wall-sized drawings, sculptures with wood and found objects, as well as a combination of printmaking, photography, and magazine collage. We will look at the mixed mediums of Robert Rauschenberg, the cutting-edge pieces by the Twentieth Century’s greatest master of collage, Kurt Schwitters, and the crazy upside-down world of Julian Schnabel as we make and manipulate an artful array of free associations. Have a new or struggling reader who needs to build confidence and practice reading aloud?  Come read to Hendrix, the trained therapy dog, a sweet a non-judgmental listener!  Bring your own book to read, or choose one of ours.

Essex County Greenbelt Association invites families to Cox Reservation for a fun session that's all about bees! This show and tell event introduces children of all ages to the importance of bees and other pollinators. Fun and educational activities scattered around the property.

Celebrate the return of spring with a visit to the Cape Ann Museum during April School Vacation Week! The Museum will be free for school-age children, 18 and under, and their guardians from Tuesday, April 16 – Friday, April 19. Explore the galleries with a scavenger hunt and family-friendly activities then head to the CAM Studio for an art project.
