Renovated in 2008. Innocenti Park is a community-wide resource with a lit softball field. It is located adjacent to the McPherson Youth Center, which has a skate park, street hockey rink and basketball court, in addition to a small building where visitors can play pool or relax on the couches. All of the youth center’s outdoor areas are lit, making it a popular and safe hangout for children during summer evenings.
Also Known as Goat Hill or Pleasant View. This neighborhood park overlooks the Danvers and Bass Rivers. The beach area is tidal and used primarily by the nearby residents; there is no lifeguard on duty, so you swim at your own risk. Gillis Park is only one block from the downtown area.
Located off Green Street and Hood's Lane, this 5.45 acre playground has picnic tables, playground equipment, softball fields, a pavilion, benches and restroom facilities.
