Media and Our Children at Waldorf School

Waldorf School hosts a presentation - Media and Our Children with Josh Golin, Executive Director of the Campaign for Commercial-Free Childhood.

Join Waldrof School at Moraine Farm as Josh Golin, Executive Director of the Campaign for Commercial-Free Childhood, talks to us about commercialism’s impact on children’s wellbeing and the effect child-targeted marketing can have on our children, and what we can do about it. Josh will present the latest research on how excessive screen time interferes with children’s wellbeing, relationships and play. This event is brought to you by the Waldorf Community Association, a group of parent volunteers bringing educational offering to the community.

8th Grade Project Presentation Evening at Waldorf School

On Thursday, April 26 at 6:30 pm, the Waldorf School at Moraine Farm graduating class, after a year of independent study, presents their projects. The eighth grade projects are one of the unique rites of passage for the graduating class at Waldorf School at Moraine Farm. Students combine the academic, artistic, and intellectual capacities fostered by their Waldorf education to research, develop, and present a project of their choosing.
