Come enjoy some fun activities in the library side yard! Bring a teddy bear to join in the picnic! We'll have crafts, activities and a teddy bear snack!
Great for ages 3 - 9. Registration is required for this vacation week activity!

Teens are invited to Abbot Public Library for a fun afternoon of crafting. Prepare for springtime with a summer camp favorite! Learn how to make a colorful keychain or zipper pull using plastic lacing. Make a simple box stitch keychain with two colors, or learn how to do more advanced shapes with three and four colors. Instructions will be provided, and no registration is required.

The TOHP Burnham Public Library in Essex hosts a knitting club for anybody aged 6 and up! Children ages 6 years and older with an adult-Learn the basics of knitting AND sewing with Ms. Christine. No experience necessary! Build hand strength and dexterity which will support fine motor skills. Participants will receive knitting needles and yarn to keep. Join Ms. Julie of Early Childhood Partners CFCE to enjoy a story and fun activities that explore Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math (STEAM). Designed for children ages 2-8 years and their caregiver. This program will be held on Fridays January 13 - March 24 from 1:30 - 2:30pm (no group on 2/24). Science Fridays will take place in the Children's Program Room. REGISTRATION REQUIRED.

The Manchester Public Library invites kids, tweens and teens join Pop-Up Art School for a fun canvas painting event at the library. Follow along step-by-step to create a magical star-filled night sky with silhouettes of a hillside and trees. It's amazing what you can create with four colors and some simple brush techniques! This event is appropriate for beginner painters ages 8-18.

Create friendship bracelets with youth expert June B.! June has been making bracelets for years, and sharing the craft with family and friends is one of her favorite activities! After teaching her 8-year-old brother how to make bracelets last summer, then attending a fall craft night at the Manchester-by-the-Sea library, she thought it would be fun to offer this class to the youth community. The library will supply the materials and snacks so bring yourself and some friends. Registration is required.

Manchester Public Library invites you to a live animal demonstration by Curious Creatures! Curious Creatures staff of professional exhibitors teach respect and appreciation for exotic and unusual animals.

Internationally acclaimed artist Li Liu will dazzle us with Chinese acrobatics including plate spinning, hand balancing, ribbon twirling, and more! Families of all ages are invited to experience this amazing performance that will take place at the Hamilton-Wenham Recreation Dept. Gymnasium, adjacent to the library.
