The Amesbury Farmers' Market is a local community farmers’ and artisans’ market located in the heart of the historic mills of Amesbury, Massachusetts at BareWolf Brewing. We are a regularly scheduled community market supporting our local food system, small businesses and neighborhood community where all are welcome.
The North Shore of Massachusetts has some of the most fertile soil in the United States and the farms of the region produce wonderful produce and other foods that you can buy directly at the farm, or it comes to you via a local Farmer's Market. Farmer's markets aren't just a place to get your favorite local seasonal foods, it s a community! The markets vary from town to town, and in addtion to the farm goods, you'll enjoy live music, craft and other vendors, and some even have activities to keep the kids busy while you shop!
Come join the Lake Gardener Improvement Association for a morning guided “Sensory Hike” up Powow Hill.Our “sensory hike” mirrors the growing movement of what is known as “Forest Bathing”, which is essentially taking the time to use your senses to mindfully soak in the nature around you as you explore. The guided hike will include the historical background of the area.
Visit Lowell’s Boat Shop for a guided tour during Trails & Sails 2022! Founded in 1793, Lowell’s Boat Shop is the oldest continuously operating wooden boat shop in the United States. Now a National Historic Landmark, Lowell’s continues to build wooden boats in the traditional method, with a mission of passing that knowledge on to the next generation through the Apprentice Program. Located on the banks of the Merrimack River in Amesbury, Lowell’s Boat Shop welcomes guests to take a step back in time and learn about the unique history and craft of wooden boat building.
Come to Cider hill Farm for our Blueberry and Flower Festival and get your seasonal fill of this wonderful superfood! There will be Blueberry Picking, Hayrides, Live Music, Cotton Candy Cart, Food for our farm food truck, The PitchFORK, and a Fresh Pressed Lemonade Cart where you can try our Blueberry Mint Lemonade, Strawberry Basil or keep it simple with a classic lemonade.
Amesbury's own Ryan Fitzsimmons will play americana-rock originals and covers. He has toured all over New England and beyond, appearing at venues such as the Newport Folk Festival & Club Passim, winning the awards "Best Male Vocalist" and "Favorite Local Rock Band" along the way. His songs that are “as authentic and emotion driven as they come” (thanks Redline Roots). Kara Kulpa will join him on fiddle and mandolin.
Join the Amesbury Chamber of Commerce on July 9th & 10th for the return of Amesbury’s Downtown Fairies, Gnomes & Mystic Homes contest! Get a delicious bite to eat or a sweet treat at one of our restaurants or bakeries, visit some of the fantastic businesses in downtown Amesbury over the weekend. While you are here, try and find all the pop-up fairy houses.
Amesbury Days fireworks display will be on July 4th! Beginning at around 9pm. Food vendors, favorites from years past and a couple of new ones added in for your enjoyment. Parking is available at Woodsom Farm, Cashman Elementary School, or Amesbury High School.
