During this 3 day Winter vacation camp, kids (ages 7–11) will explore the farm in winter. From tracking to snow games to meeting the cows in their winter home, they will experience life on a farm in winter.

As we prepare to go out calling for great horned owls, we'll read aloud Jane Yolen's book [amazon 0399214577 inline], an award winning book about a father and daughter's journey in the winter night on a search for the great horned owl. Together, we'll learn about owls' special features, from silent flight to feathered feet, with a live owl presentation and Q&A with a specialist from The Center for Wildlife in York, Maine.
PEM hosts a weekend-long festival focused on surrealism and absurdity.Step into the surreal and experiment with Surrealist techniques, experience dreamlike films and make friends with odd creatures from Big Nazo. Through art activities, demonstrations, story times, guided exhibit tours, film and interactive demonstrations, participants will walk away with a better understanding of the surrealism and its effect onb our our society.
