Join us as we share a children's nature story before we explore the woods, fields, and wetlands of the Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary.  This month we'll focus on the secrets of salamanders.

Joppa Flats Education Center has added this event by popular demand! Come to Joppa Flats Education Center and begin with a 45 minute indoor introductory program in the Lookout (2^nd floor) about Pinnipeds (seals, sea lions, and walrus). Then, we’ll carpool to an on-the-beach viewing area where we can see the harbor seals hauled out on the rocks at low tide at the mouth of the Merrimack River.

Take a full tour of beautiful Green Meadows Farm with an overview of our certified organic vegetable farming and sustainable animal program. Green Meadows Farm operates a CSA and runs a farm stand open to the public. In the Farmstand, you'll find our own seasonal vegetables plus a variety of natural and organic dry goods, local cheeses, milk, meat and fun gift items for children and adults.

Please join us for the "Night Sky" as the Museum of Science brings their inflatable planetarium to City Hall. Kids can explore the night sky, learn about the stars nearby and get some useful tips for stargazing in the back yard. This program is for Children ages 6 and over. Please register. Space is limited.
