Sparhawk School in Amesbury Ma. is proud to present, Bye Bye Birdie with three shows May 20, 21, and 22. Rock star Conrad Birdie is the biggest thing to top the charts. Women love him, men want to be him and teenage girls around the country scream with glee at the mere mention of his name. But when the United States Army drafts Birdie, manager Albert Peterson sees his meal ticket preparing to fly the coop (much to the delight of longtime love Rose Alvarez, who can’t wait for Albert to ditch the music biz and become something respectable, like an English teacher).

The Boston Pops collaborates with University of Connecticut's Puppet Arts Program in a stunning evening of grand symphonic music illustrated by imaginative puppet creations of all kinds and sizes. These aren't your kids handpuppets: alumni puppeteers have performed in The Lion King, Sesame Street, Avenue Q, and others. Performances will include Peter and the Wolf, and newly-commissioned performances to the classics of Pops' favorite Leroy Anderson.

Join us for an imaginative evening spectacular for the senses, for all ages!

Zeus's master lightning bolt has been stolen and Percy is the prime suspect.

Allegro Dance Ensemble Presents - The Briar Rose Ballet

Hamilton Wenham Library, Hamilton-Wenham School of Dance

Allegro Dance Ensemble, the resident company of Hamilton-Wenham School of Dance, will perform an original piece called "The Briar Rose Ballet". The ballet tells the story of Sleeping Beauty. After the performance, children will be invited to take a short ballet lesson, learn a dance and have time for free dancing.

This program is open to the public and free of charge. No registration necessary.
