John Badalament, author of the acclaimed [amazon 1577316606 inline], will speak at Glen Urquhart School on Thursday, April 25. Badalament is a Harvard-trained educator with 20 years of experience as a teacher, dean of students, and counselor in school and clinical settings for children, teens, and adults. His work has been featured on ABC News, NPR, in Men's Health, Mom Magazine, L.A. Times, and the Boston Globe.

Usher in spring with Women in Action on Saturday, April 6th from 9:30-11:30a.m. by helping The Food Project start seedlings in the greenhouse at Glen Urquhart School in Beverly. Women in Action is dedicated to increasing access to nutritious food and physical activity for underserved children.  Last year, volunteers helped start 4,864 seedlings for The Food Project's North Shore farms in just one morning. Thursday, March 28th, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Cape Ann Waldorf School welcomes parents to visit Kindergarten to observe the Waldorf curriculum in action. Learn about the Waldorf approach to Kindergarten by observing the children in their daily rhythm and ask questions of the CAWS faculty.

There will be a Q & A with Cape Ann Waldorf School faculty. This is an adults only session.
