Come check out the Stevens to Stevens Trail, a scenic trail connecting the Old Center Common to Weir Hill to Osgood Hill. We'll meet at the North Andover Merchant Association Fall Festival on the Common, across the street from the trail entrance on Mass Ave. This hike is part of Trails & Sails 2019.
The North Shore of Massachusetts has some of the most fertile soil in the United States and the farms of the region produce wonderful produce and other foods that you can buy directly at the farm, or it comes to you via a local Farmer's Market. Farmer's markets aren't just a place to get your favorite local seasonal foods, it s a community! The markets vary from town to town, and in addtion to the farm goods, you'll enjoy live music, craft and other vendors, and some even have activities to keep the kids busy while you shop!
Come to Sudden Pond for a day of fishing for all ages! This event will introduce beginning and veteran anglers to fishing. Cast a line, learn about fish in our waters, safety, and equipment. MassWildlife Angler Education Volunteer Instructors will be on hand to assist. Equipment is provided.
Meet at Campground Nature Center- For ages 6 and up. This is a moderate guided hike to the remnants of the Jenkins family blue soapstone quarry. A great way to learn about the park’s history and resources while getting some exercise.
Meet at Frye Pond Beach - Great family fun for everyone interested in learning the basics of pond fishing in New England. All fishing tackle and bait is provided. Recommend bringing insect repellent, water, sun screen and a camera. Appropriate for children over 6 years old.

Get the family outside this summer and stay up until the streetlights come on.
In this family-friendly series participants are encouraged to pack a picnic and head to The Stevens-Coolidge gardens for some old-fashioned nighttime fun with the neighborhood. We’ll play lawn games and flashlight tag, offer story times about nature at night and of course no summer evening would be complete without a firepit and s’mores.
Pre-registration is encouraged to help us plan for the day but drop in and head home at your convenience.
Kick off the Independence Day Holiday with Fireworks and a free fesrival on the common in North Andover with family activities!
When it's warm and sunny, it's butterfly weather! Come sing and read stories about butterflies in the gardens with your friends at The Stevens-Coolidge Place. We'll play in the lawn, act out the caterpillar life cycle and end the morning with a hunt for monarch caterpillars and chrysalis munching away on our milkweed in the gardens. This program is best suited for children 2 to 5 years old. Pre-Registration is encouraged.
