Girls Day at MIT Museum

Girls Day, offered twice a year and sponsored by MIT Museum, celebrates women who are exploring, researching, and innovating in fields of science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). Meet amazing women in these fields while doing fun hands-on activities. This family-friendly event is recommended for girls 10 and up, but all are welcome. Our theme this time is “Express Yourself with Science” and will highlight women whose work combines science and the arts.

Drop-in activities at tables will run continuously 1:00–5:00 pm, and scheduled talks will take place at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00, and 4:00.

After more than a year of holding online, virtual Girls Days, we’re delighted to welcome visitors back to MIT campus for this in-person event in collaboration with the MIT List Visual Arts Center.

Advance registration is highly recommended, especially to stay informed on MIT’s COVID-19 policies for visitors. Our current guidelines are as follows:
Face coverings are required indoors, and physical distancing is encouraged. Face coverings are optional outdoors, but are strongly recommended when individuals are unable to maintain at least one meter of physical distance. Find the most current MIT policies at now.mit.edu/policies.
