Poetry without Paper

Poetry without Paper is a contest for kids, tweens and teens in Gloucester Massachusetts sponsored by the Sawyer Free Library

Poetry without Paperis a contest for children, tween and teens who live in Gloucester or attend Gloucester schools! Submit an original poem on any theme.  Submission dates are March 1-April 30. Winners will be chosen from each age group: high school, middle school, and elementary school.

PRIZES

  • 1st Prize: $150 Cape Ann Gift Certificates
  • 2nd Prize: $100 Cape Ann Gift Certificates
  • 3rd Prize: $50 Cape Ann Gift Certificates
  • Honerable Mention: Poetry Books

All winners will receive a certificate, present their winning poems at an Award Ceremony in the Spring, and receive an invitation to appear on Cape Ann TV's The Writer's Block with John Ronan. All winning work will be published online.
