At sundown this Halloween season, Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary will be transformed into a magical forest. Take a guided walk along our Halloween trail, lit by glowing luminaries and home to some interesting characters that come out just for Halloween. Learn about local animals of the night and signs of the season on this, fun family-friendly walk. Allow about one and a half hours for this walk.

Essex Hertiage invites you to learn the true causes and events behind the Salem Witch Trials in our documentary film, then discover the myths during our walking tour. The Salem Witch Trials happened over 300 years ago, and it has been dramatized in books, documentaries, movies, and even TV shows. Over the years it has been presented so many times in so many ways that the line between fact and fiction gets blurred.

A critical element of the Marblehead community needs our support. Piper field, a multi-purpose turf field at MHS, is utilized by organizations well beyond MHS Athletics. It is a staple for graduation ceremonies, the Marblehead Band, High School and Youth Soccer, Lacrosse, Cheer, Football, Field Hockey, Flag Football, Adult Men’s Soccer, Unified Athletics, student gatherings, camps, and more.

This will be our 10th Annual Walk to End Homelessness and we hope to make it our LARGEST yet! 2023 has proven to be one of the most difficult years yet for the families we are serving. Rent prices are higher than ever, resources are scarce and there is absolutely no housing available for anyone - especially those we serve. We need your help in order to continue providing these families with critical services in order to prevent and end their situations of homelessness!

The Salem Zombie Walk is a fun time for all, and kinda scary! Salem Massachusetts Haunted Happenings

The Salem Zombiewalk has been an annual event for a number of years. This is a great family-friendly event will be held in Downtown Salem, MA. Prior to the Zombiewalk, participants gather at Salem Commons for some field day activities, last-minute costume tweaks and alterations, and of course to admire other lovers of the Zombie theme.
