Come for the 50th Running of the Beverly Yankee Homecoming 5K Road Race! You are almost guaranteed to see someone you know at or around the competition. The flat course meanders through ocean side neigborhoods of Bevelry with a fast, picturesque finish. Neighbors line the streets to cheer runners on. Proceeds from the race benefit North Shore YMCA programs, camps, and other great services offered by the Y!

Calling all Super Dads! Bring the whole family along for Rockport father’s day 5k/10k road race. The Rockport Father’s Day 10K is hands down the most spectacular race course in New England! Run, walk or stroll(er) this beautiful course as it winds its way along the rocky coast of Rockport. Same views, shorter course is the 5K sister race to this 15 year Father’s Day tradition.
Join the Pacione family for the 10th and final race in honor of their son and brother Gabe. tthis race, held the day after Thanksgivigng is a chip timed 5k, as well and a 1 mile fun run for all. Magnolia’s 41st Annual Road Race is a 5k Race to be held rain or shine along a beautiful, scenic route in Magnolia. A 1k Walk/Fun Run will appeal to kids and those not capable of completing the 5k. All proceeds from the races go to the Magnolia Library.
The Fast Chicks 5k is a Hamilton-Wenham Mother's Club sponsored community fundraiser race that celebrates active women and raises funds for a selected charity each year. There's also a FREE kids race - a 100 yard dash! Now in it's third year, the race begins and ends at Patton park and funds raise this year will go to the Wellspring House, a North Shore organization based in Gloucester that empowers individuals and families to live more secure lives through basic needs assistance, education and job training.
The North Shore Community Development Coalition invites families, runners and walkers to celebrate Earth Day at Lynch Park. Run or walk in their 5k race and stay for an Earth Day festival will involving over a dozen vendors encouraging a more proactive, healthy lifestyle, community and planet. The entire event is promoting "GREEN LIVING" with a focus on celebrating Earth Day!
In 2013, a group of local moms, in partnership with the Winner’s Circle Running Club organized this running/walking event to support the One Fund and the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing. Last year this event raised $15,000 for the One Fund … let’s do it again! If you are a runner/walker, sign up now to support the cause. There's a special Kids Run at 10am followed by the Charity Run at 10:30am. Event day registration starts at 8:30 AM at Cashman Park.
The 4th Annual - Run the Heater 5K usually starts and ends at Singing Beach but due to anticipated construction at Singing Beach this fall, we will be using a revised route this year. The Heater is the traditional route that early citizens of Manchester used to warm up their horses. This 3.1 mile route celebrates this Manchester tradition, and brings you through and around the heart of Downtown Manchester. Kids will run a separate race on the beach with medal to be given every particitipant. Other fun activities will include facepainting, live music and a fun family atmosphere.
Meet us at Cashman Park in Newburyport then we'll dash onto the Newburyport Rail Trail for a 1 mile FUN RUN! Costumes are encouraged and children of all ages are welcome! All proceeds from the run will benefit the Jeanne Geiger Crisis Center. Registration begins at 10 AM and the run races off at 11AM.
