Join us for a drop-in holiday craft workshop, where you can make festive creations to take home and even write your letter to Santa! Craft activities are recommended for families with children ages 4 to 10, but everyone is welcome.

Ride along with Scrooge on the Salem Trolley as the classic tale is brought to life in a completely unexpected way. Shows sell out quickly and seats are limited. Parents and teens! Come to the Community Life Center on Tuesday, December 12th for a presentation by HAWC representative. She will be teaching about healthy relationships, digital safety for teens, and provide tips and strategies to promote healthy communication among teens.
Join Salem Sound Coastwatch for this opportunity to view and learn about the many interesting waterfowl, ducks, and geese that winter over in Salem Sound’s coastal waters. Experienced birders will set up spotting scopes, help you identify the birds, and answer questions.
Santa will be visiting the Salem Common Gazebo on Saturday, December 9th from 9:00am -12:00pm. This event will give families the opportunity to have their picture taken with Santa and pre-bagged treats will be available for the kids.

Historic Salem, Inc. hosts its annual holiday house tour in downtown Salem Massachusetts! Few communities have the rich legacy of historic houses that Salem, Massachusetts boasts. These homes, spanning four centuries, help define the character as well as the appearance of the city. Every year Christmas In Salem focuses on a different neighborhood, and some of the homeowners invite visitors into their homes fully decked out in holiday regalia, and to explore a series of unique histories and architectural tales.
