Essex County Greenbelt will host their annual road cycle event to raise funds for conservation efforts on the North Shore!

Essex County Greenbelt Association will host the annual road cycle event to raise funds for conservation efforts on the North Shore! Cycling enthusiasts of all abilities can ride through some of Essex County’s most beautiful landscapes in this annual road cycle event to benefit local land conservation. Whether a seasoned road cyclist or a beginner, you can enjoy at your own pace one of three routes offered by Tour de Greenbelt: a 50 mile ride, a shorter route (25 miles), and Gravel Grinder Routes (40 mile and 28 mile), with off-road excursions into protected forests and reservations.

It’s an evening of fun for the whole family whether you're a spectator or a participant!

North Shore Community Bike Swap – Buy or Sell Used Bikes

Riverside Cycle is proud to host their annual bike swap at their Tannery tent in Newburyport Massachusetts

Make sure to visit the Riverside Cycle Tannery Tent on Sunday, April 30th from 10 am – 2 pm for the annual community bike swap, hosted by the locally based Pan Mass Challenge Team, The Riverside Rockets. This is an amazing opportunity to pick up used bikes at very reasonable prices, while helping support important fundraising efforts. If your interested in selling or donating bikes drop them off at Riverside between 9 am – 5 pm, April 16th and 23rd. Whether you’re, buying, selling or donating, a portion of all proceeds will go to the Jimmy Fund to help fight cancer as well as the Coastal Trails Coalition to help improve our local bike trails.

Gran Prix of Gloucester

The Gran Prix of Gloucester is an annual international cyclocross race held in Gloucester Massachusetts in the beautiful setting of Stage Fort Park by the sea.

The Gran Prix of Gloucesteris two days of international calibre races where competitors from all over the US, Canada & Europe converge to race in North America by the sea at Stage Fort Park in Gloucester, Massachusetts. Cyclocross is the most spectator-friendly form of bicycle racing, so bring the family and join the excitement.  Who knows? Maybe next year someone in your family will be part of the action!
