The Manchester Memorial PTO is gearing up for the annual "Hit the Street for Little Feet" 5K Road Race, 1M Fun Run and Family Fitness Festival. The 5k race route which goes throughout picturesque Manchester-by-the-Sea will precede the 1-mile Fun Run. Following the races, participants are invited to enjoy a community celebration with fun fitness challenges, obstacle courses, sport specific challenges, local food carts, vendors and more.

The Manchester Athletic Club will be hosting the annual Pedal to End Cancer Fundraiser on Sunday March 3, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. along with over 60 clubs throughout New England. It is a 3-hour Indoor Cycling event with an effort to raise funds towards the American Cancer Society. We are looking for participants or donations help with this fun and inspiring event! Usher in spring with Women in Action on Saturday, April 6th from 9:30-11:30a.m. by helping The Food Project start seedlings in the greenhouse at Glen Urquhart School in Beverly. Women in Action is dedicated to increasing access to nutritious food and physical activity for underserved children. Last year, volunteers helped start 4,864 seedlings for The Food Project's North Shore farms in just one morning. Open to individuals, families, and friends (kids age 5 and up).
