On February 28th from 12 to 2:30 pm at Shaws of North Beverly and Stop and Shop on Elliot St., a group of six grade students from Briscoe Middle School will be accepting donations for their shampoo drive. The students are part of a group called Destination Imagination. This is a club that works on team building and problem solving. These students will be competing in a tournament in March and they must complete a community service challenge. This year, the DI group is partnering with Beverly Bootstraps to host a shampoo drive.

Come to the beautiful Danvers-Wenham Swampwalk where Santa will be making a special stop to meet you and have his picture taken with you to raise money for Toys For Tots! Photos, downloads, ornaments and Christmas cards can be ordered online later that day and weekend and all proceeds from the sale of these items goes directly to TOYS FOR TOTS! Grab the family, the dogs, and walk off that Thanksgiving turkey - please join us! Wouldn't you like to introduce your little ones to reading and the joys of a library? Get them reading early and they will read for life. The Emma Andrews Library at 77 Purchase Street is offering story hours four times a week.

On Wednesdays, 3 and 4 year olds may join us from 9:30 to 10:30 and 4 and 5 year olds from 1:30 to 2:30. We will read 2 or 3 stories and help them create a craft related to the stories to take home.

On Mondays, toddlers and their siblings may come from 9:30 to 10:30.We will again read stories, sing songs, make a craft and play games.

Come to the Pizza Fest in Ipswich to sample pizza from local restaurants and raise funds that will be distributed to local students through scholarship programs. This fund raiser event will feature all-you-can-eat pizza, a raffle, local vendors, a bouncy house for the kids, face painting, a DJ, dancing and family fun for all.  Come help COME SUPPORT THE IPSWICH LIONS raise money for scholarships and many other community needs, and have some fun while doing it!
