The Life is good Festival welcomes families and kids to this musical event!

The Life is Good Festival in Canton this September has a lot of great acts performing over all weekend long, but did you know they've gone out of their way to provide special entertainment for the kids? For both days of the festival your kids will get a chance to see their favorite kid bands perform live, in addition to a lot of fun family activities that makes this festival a truly family-friendly event!

Cape Ann Pan Mass Challenge Kids Ride North of Boston Brookwood School Mancheste

Brookwood School is proud to host its fourth PMC Kids Ride. We hope to hit the $15,000 mark with funds raised by kids in Manchester, Massachusetts and the twenty-six surrounding communities represented by riders in past years. Many kids, many bikes, one mission: cure cancer. Kids of all ages find fun, camaraderie, and inspiration in bringing us closer by the mile to the cure for cancer with donations to the Jimmy Fund at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Pan-Ipswich Challenge

The Pan-Ipswich Challenge traverses Ipswich by trail and raises funds for ECTA

The ECTA Pan Ipswich Challenge is a ~20 mile walk or run fundraiser from the west end of Ipswich (Hood Pond) to the coast (Steep Hill Beach) that will highlight some of the best trails and open lands on the North Shore! Participants are encouraged to raise a minimum of $100 through pledges with the proceeds going to the ECTA.

Plum Cove Elementary Parent Teacher Co-op is hosting a 4th annual on-line auction to benefit the arts and education of the students at Plum Cove Elementary. The Plum Cove Elementary School's 'Roots to Grow' online auction begins March 23, 2012 and continues through April 1, 2012. Animal Treasure Hunt Fundraiser

Kids will have a blast at this treasure hunt and fund raiser!

Join us in a treasure hunt for animals in the Great House museum rooms. Participants will receive a small gift and be entered into a drawing for special prizes! There will be more fun with animal crafts and displays. Proceeds will equally benefit the Ipswich Humane Group and The Trustees of Reservations.

Zombie Dancers wanted for a performance of Michael Jackson 'Thriller' in Salem!

The Talent Conquest TV Show will be producing the ZOMBIE DANCE "Thriller" Re Enactment as part of the B&S Fitness Devil's Chase 6.66 Runners on Saturday 10/26/11. This is a benefit for the Plummer Home for Boys in Salem, MA. Debra Crosby will MC the ZOMBIE DANCE reenactment of Michael Jackson's "Thriller" to give the Devil's Chase 6.66 runners a little entertainment.

Mother Nature's Child at CACC

Mother Nature's Child explores how todays children are disconnected from nature.

Come to the Cape Ann Community Cinema for a screening of Mother Nature's Child, a new film about the growing divide between children and nature and how we can begin the process of healing this divide. Following the screening, Wendy Conquest, The Co-Producer of Mother Nature's Child, will be joining us and will answer questions about the film. Proceeds will benefit Kestrel Educational Adventures.
