Please join Wolf Hollow for a spectacular fundraising event at EBSCO Publishing in Ipswich! The walk starts at 11am! Fuel up before the walk and enjoy lunch and shopping after the walk, all sold by our beloved local businesses and volunteers! Please be sure to fill out the registration form attached to this post if you are interested in "walking as a pack, for the pack"!! Joppa Flats Education Center host a great session about animal skull and teeth! Teeth can tell you all about an animal's diet, feeding behavior, and strategy for survival. Skulls can tell you if an animal was a canine or feline. We'll examine skulls and teeth and try to imagine the animals that owned them. Finally, we'll create "mystery-ivores" with their own activities and diets.

Meet a Dairy Farmer at Appleton Farms

Come meet a dairy farmer and members of the Appleton Farms Dairy herd in Ipswich Massachusetts!

Come to Appleton Farms every Sunday at 4PM to see our Jersey heard being milked. See the cows bring brought in from pasture, get a look at the milking up close and ask our dairy farmer a few questions! Perfect for kids and adults alike. While you are here take a peek in the cheese kitchen viewing room, visit with our other barnyard animals or have a picnic in the stone paddock!

Herrmanns' Royal Lipizzan Stallions come to Cogswell's Grant in Essex massachusetts

Historic New England welcomes family favorite Herrmann's Royal Lipizzan Stallions for a special engagement at Cogswell's Grant . The famous Lipizzan stallions are returning to perform three shows at Cogswell's Grant. The horses of the Herrmann line are among the last capable of executing the "Airs Above the Ground" maneuvers, the dramatic leaps and plunges developed as aggressive battle maneuvers in the sixteenth century, and now a beautiful display of equine grace and strength.

Join the park interpreter and special guest Russ Hopping on a walk to view and identify various butterfly species at Maudslay.  Russ is an active member of the Massachusetts Butterfly Club and enjoys sharing his knowledge of butterflies with others.  Russ is the Ecology Program Director for The Trustees of Reservations. He has worked for The Trustees since 1997, overseeing the stewardship of ecological resources at The Trustees’ more than 26,000 acres.

Seashore Adventures: Beach Exploration

Go on a low tide exploration at Pavilion Beach in Ipswich, Massachusetts!

Enjoy the morning at Pavilion Beach in Ipswich during low tide and discover the living wonders of the sandy coastline. We will walk across the shoreline of Little Neck, where we will search for tiny fish, hermit crabs, periwinkles, and other sea creatures living in this delicate habitat. We will preserve our memories by creating a beach collage.

Essex County Trail Association Jamboree at Groton House Farm in Hamilton Massachusetts!

Come Walk, Run, Bike and Ride on guided trail adventures (for all levels) followed by a party featuring live music, live animals, games, great food trucks and local beer from the Tapmobiles of Ipswich Ale Brewery.
