Gloucester Meetinghouse Foundation will host their third annual car show called CAPE ANN CLASSIC CARS ON THE GREEN at Cape Ann Community Cinema! Join in for a day of family fun with beautiful vintage cars displayed on the green in front of the Meetinghouse.

Join us at the Cape Ann Museum Green for a free screening of the classic Gloucester film, Captains Courageous on Saturday, August 28 in partnership with the Cape Ann Community Cinema. Captains Courageous is a legendary 1937 film about a Portuguese fisherman who rescues the son of a railway tycoon after the boy fell overboard from an ocean liner. Based on Rudyard Kipling’s 1897 novel, the movie was filmed primarily in Gloucester. Photographs from the Museum’s Library & Archives document the filming.

Play Minecraft with other children grades 1-5 (ages 6 and up)  Learn new tricks from each other and explore and build in a world together. This group is for children in grades 1 and up. Due to our child safety policy, at least one parent per session will need to volunteer to stay in the room the entire time of the program, from 3:30-4:30. Please register for just one session per month.
