IMADA is offering students an array of Summer programs focusing on the arts. Kids in grades 7-12 are invited to use time over the Summer to explore their artistic abilities be it sculpture, painting, film, music or digital and mixed media. Programs take place at Ipswich High School and other locations beyond the North Shore, so payattention to the specifics for the program you want. Create your own interpretation of the Easter Tree with natural branches and a variety of hand-crafted ornaments. No fancy pastry here, this workshop embraces the nostalgia of old-fashioned country-style baking here in New England! We'll roll up our sleeves to prepare delicious sweet and savory recipes while learning fundamental measuring and baking principles, along with and proper methods and techniques for quick breads, filled cookies, yeast bread, and seasonal specialty fruit desserts.
Cuvilly Art and Earth Center in Ipswich MA is excited to announce FARM FRIDAYS
Every Friday AFTERNOON from 12:30 -3:30pm, the children will get a hands-on experience of farm life. We will be: training our pony Koty, working with our newest Cuvilly Critter, Hamilton the pig, managing the chicken coop and overseeing egg production. We will be growing food to donate to ACCORD Food Pantry in Hamilton and The Open Door in Gloucester. We will grow and prepare food from farm to table! The entire afternoon will be farm-based.

On this special program designed especially for our young farm friends, we’ll enjoy calf close encounters, a cow story and costume, a tour of the milking barn to see our cows being milked and more! Learn why cows have big ears, how much milk they make and how we turn it into delicious cheese.

This fun-filled family event kicks off the 2017 YMCA North Shore Road Race Series, now in its 11th year! Argy the gorilla has completed this wandering 5K course through the wooded neighborhoods of Ipswich, on everything from running shoes to a Segway to the back seat of a convertible! Bring the kids along for workout games with Argy (the Gorilla)! Post-race awards, music, photos, refreshments and more! This race is open to all ages.
