Wenham Massachusetts Memorial Day Services commence with and a Decoration of the Cheeseman Memorial in Pingree Park. The Wenham Memorial Day Parade kicks off at the American Legion building.The parade forms at American Legion building (Wenham COA and Buker School) starting at 12:30 p.m. Parade starts at 1 p.m. with stops at the Veterans Memorial Monument, the Civil War Memorial, and the Wenham Town Cemetery on Main Street.
Hamilton’s American Legion A.P. Gardner Post 194 invites residents and visitors to join in honoring those who have served our country at the annual Memorial Day Parade, taking place Monday, May 26, beginning at 8:30 A.M. at 624 Bay Road.

The Therapy Dog is In! Drop by starting at 3:30pm to get 10-minutes of one-on-one reading time with Keeva and her trainer, Ms. Fleming. Keeva provides a calm, welcoming space for emerging readers to practice their read-aloud skills. Bring a book from home or pick one out at the library - Keeva loves all stories! Open to readers in grades K-3. No registration needed; arrive early to guarantee a spot & sign-in when you arrive.
EVERYTHING IS AWESOME! Calling all LEGO fans – we’re excited to welcome the LEGO Train back to the Wenham Museum this February! Come see a rainbow colored, L-gauge model train speeding along a brick track as it races by soaring skyscrapers, country cottages, mountainside ski slopes and much more. The LEGO Train is designed with the highest degree of precision (and a sense of humor!) by the New England LEGO Users Group (NELUG).
Welcome in the New Year with Keeva, a certified Therapy Dog, and her trainer Pat Fleming! Hear about her important therapy work, and then enjoy treats, crafts, and games. Designed for children ages 3 years and up. No registration needed.
Wenham Museum has a special New Year's Eve celebration planned just for kids and families!With music, movement, performance, and art we will welcome 2025 in a fun and family-friendly way. We’ll countdown to “midnight” at 12 p.m. with streamers and a balloon drop! All of the museum’s galleries will be open as well, for you to enjoy.
The Gordon Athletics coaching staff and current student athletes invite players of all levels to join them on their field for a free baseball clinic for players ages 6+.
Please register online and print the emergency form to complete by hand and turn in at the clinic. Walk-ups are welcome. Bring baseball pants, bat, glove, and hat.
Everyone's invited to enter Wenham Museum’s gingerbread contest! Individuals, families, groups, teams–all are encouraged to create a Gingerbread House for this friendly community competition. Observe the opportunity for children to launch their very own startup business! Deadline to apply for a booth: September 1st, 5pm. Kids develop a brand, create a product or service, build a marketing strategy, and then open for customers at our one-day marketplace. **At this time, we cannot accept applications for food or foodstuff that will trigger a health department approval. This includes: cupcakes, pre-packaged goods, home made candy or anything consumable.
