Between the smell of fresh-from-the-oven baked goods and hot cocoa, twinkling lights, array of homemade gingerbread houses and the buzz of holiday cheer, there’s no better place south of the North Pole to celebrate the holidays. This year the tradition continues when Smolak Farms kicks off the holiday season with their annual Tree Lighting Festival.

The holidays are just around the corner, and soon you’ll be planning your family’s holiday feasts. Join us and learn how to serve up a hearty holiday dinner that your family with want you to recreate year after year! Some possible offerings include: Curried Pumpkin Soup, Crown Roast of Pork with Sausage Walnut Stuffing & Bacon-Laced Gravy, Sautéed Apple Slices with Spiced Sweet Potato Purée, and Raspberry Almond Torte.

Get a jump start on your weekend with the Second Friday Program at the MIT Museum! Second Friday Programs are oriented for open exploration with opportunities to attend performances, demonstrations, and lectures through out the museum galleries.
