Gloucester's Santa Parade & Tree Lighting

Santa will come to Gloucester to launch the Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting -

The annual Gloucester Holiday Parade has been a Gloucester tradition for many years. Come enjoy the parade, Santa, and the tree lighting at Kent Circle!  Volunteers will line up parade participants at the State Fish Pier on Parker Street at 2:00 PM and will guide them through downtown Gloucester and on to Kent Circle for the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Christmas Walk Parade

The Christmas Walk parade spotlights local businesses and organizations!

The Christmas Walk Parade takes place after Santa Arrives in Marblehead. The parade begins at 11:45am at the State Street Landing  and will run along Washington Street, Atlantic Avenue and Pleasant Street.

Rockport PTO Holiday Fair

The Rockport PTO Holiday Fair is a charitable way to shop for unique gifts

The Rockport PTO Holiday fair hosts many talented artisans from Cape Ann and beyond! Come to the fair to see what they have to offer and bring the kids to take advantage of the great family events and activities we have planned, including live music and a dance performance!

Holiday Sing Along

Come with friends and neighbors to sing holiday songs to start your holiday seas

Gather your family and friends and come over to the Firehouse for a little old-fashioned Holiday Sing-Along to kick off your Holidays with music!  The Youth Choir from the Immaculate Conception Church (Newburyport), directed by Donna Postle, will be there to lead everyone in singing some well-loved carols, with music provided by John Metrano on piano.  Our favorite elf, Terry Blanchard, will once again read “ ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” while wearing his famous stocking cap knit exclusively for this annual presentation by the North Pole’s very talented Mrs. Elf.

The Boston Pops on Boxing Day!

BSO's Holiday Pops makes a great Christmas Tradition.

The Boston Pops always put on a great Holiday Show, and there are still some shows available to go see, inlcuding some children's matinees!  Historic Symphony Hall is transformed into a magical place for all ages as the Boston Pops perform the most beloved holiday music. Join together with the millions of other New Englanders and Bostonians to continue your family’s tradition or start a new one.

Winter Carnival Block Party

Come to Downtown Gloucester to enjoy dj music, caroling, dancing in the streets, art activities for the kids and free popcorn & hot chocolate at main street stores.   Stick around till 7:30pm to find out the winner of the 'Shop Downtown' raffle.  If you're lucky you may even run into Santa Claus!
