Lobster Trap Tree Lighting Party in at Cape Ann Art Haven in Gloucester Massachusetts

The annual Middle Street Walk 2017 wraps up every year with the lighting of the lobster trap Christmas tree in Gloucester Massachusetts! Stop by Cape Ann Art Haven for a Holiday Party with hot chocolate, sweet treats, kids' crafts, holiday photos, face painting live music. Caroling starts at 4:30pm, followed by the tree lighting across the street at 5pm. Come find your buoy hanging on the tree, enjoy caroling, seeing the star put on the tree join us for the countdown and celebrate the season with the lighting of our Lobster Trap Tree!

Hamilton-Wenham Community Sing and tree lighting

The Community House Of Hamilton & Wenham invites children to bring their own flashlight or glowsticks for the tree and gazebo lighting and a Christmas Carol Sing for all ages! Brian Doser, Peter Stewart and Joe Scuderi team up for an exciting musical evening with a few Special Guests. Booklets of carols are provided. A half hour of singing followed by cocoa, cookies, lighting the Gazebo and downtown Christmas Tree. A great way to kick off your Christmas celebrations.

Festival of the Trees by the Sea

Celebrate the start of the Christmas Season in downtown Manchester, Mass!

As part of the Christmas-by-the-Sea celebrations in Manchester, the Festival of the Trees is an enchanted forest of Christmas trees on the town green in Manchester by-the-Sea decorated by community groups and local businesses. The trees are put up the weekend after Thanksgiving and stay lit just past New Years for all to enjoy through the holidays!  Come visit downtown Manchester and get into the Spirit of the Holidays!

Middle Street Walk 2017

The Middle Street Walk in Gloucester is a full day of Winter Holiday Fun for the whole family.

The Annual Middle Street Walk is a great way to experience Gloucester's Historic District while having fun with the family. The Festivities begin at 11 am and go all the way through to the lighting of the lobster pot tree in downtown Gloucester! Pick up a Schedule of Events and get your walk on!  A whole day of FREE activities, shows and events await for all the members of the family.

Celebrate the start of the Christmas Season in downtown Manchester, Mass!

As part of the Christmas-by-the-Sea celebrations in Manchester there will be a Christmas concert at the First Parish Church and the tree lighting ceremony at Manchester Town Green immediately after the concert. This is also the kickoff of Manchester's Festival of the Trees by the Sea.  Come enjoy the community spirit of the holidays and make lasting Holiday memories for your children!

Santa will come to Gloucester to launch the Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting -

Gloucester's Holiday Parade has been a is a great tradition to kick off the holidays! Come enjoy the parade, Santa, and the tree lighting at Kent Circle!  Volunteers will line up parade participants at the State Fish Pier on Parker Street at 2:00 PM and will guide them through downtown Gloucester and on to Kent Circle for the Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony.

Come to the Holiday Tree Lighting in Salem to kick off the holiday season!

Join Salem Main Streets and the City of Salem as we combine two of our most beloved annual traditions – Greet Santa at the Hawthorne Hotel and the lighting of Salem’s Holiday Tree – into one evening. Santa Claus will arrive at the top of the Hawthorne Hotel (18 Washington Square W) promptly at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 27, 2015, with assistance from the Salem Fire Department, of course. Bring the whole family out for carols, festivities, and fun!
