Danvers Garden Club Children's Concert

Marcus Gale brings his puppet pals, Little Dog and Big Dog to lead all age children in song and dance. He gets the whole family involved moving to his infectious dance tunes as he sings, hums and plays guitar. Get ready to sing songs, clap your hands, wiggle your fingers and toes and move to the beat of the best kid dance tunes around.

Location: The Childrens' Garden at the Peabody Institute Library, 15 Sylvan Street, Danvers. (rain location - Holy Trinity United Methodist Church- across the street).

Ice Cream Scoop-Ah-Bowl

The 9th annual Ice Cream Scoop-Ahhh-bowl will present flavors from local ice cream parlors for sampling. A $5.00 ticket allows you to sample various flavors from all of our ice cream sponsors: Goodies, Cherry Farm Creamery, Captain Dusty’s Ice Cream, Putnam Pantry, Richardson’s Dairy, and Treadwells. Music entertainment will be provided by JW & the All Arounds (from Danvers), and the Mellon Brothers Band (from Peabody). There will be games, special guests and a Pie Eating Contest. So come on down and let the kids (and yourself) run wild.

Endicott Park Day

Endicott Park Day is a true family outing, with activities and events for people of all ages starting at 11:00. From the Doll Carriage Parade to face painting & temporary tattoos, and other kid’s activities, demonstrations, and rides. There is sure to be something for everyone. Local businesses and crafts-people will have booths. And bring an appetite, as a wide variety of food is available from fried dough to Kelly’s Roast Beef Deli*(for a nominal fee). Enjoy Ice Cream Scoop-Ahhh-Bowl for dessert. Combination bracelet (all day rides + ice cream) for only $8.00.

Camp Christopher Open House

Come to You do not have access to view this node at Saint John's Prep where you can meet the staff and take a guided tour of the facilities.  Each summer since 1946, the stunning campus and facilities of Saint John's Prep have been available to youngsters for eight one-week sessions. A nonsectarian camp for boys and girls ages 5 to 12, Camp Christopher represents the very finest in day camping.

Craft Tuesdays

This is a drop-in program for you and your child to share. Drop in any time between 10:00 and 11:30am to create a different craft each week using a variety of materials - including stickers, foam, paint, crayons, markers, glue, paper, et. al.!

Story Time

Drop-in story times for ages 3-5 are held on the following days from 10:00 - 10:45am. A book-related movie will be shown at 10:15am. Parents are welcome to stay with children who are uncomfortable being left alone.
