Greet Santa as he arrives at Town Wharf on East Street, at the north end end of Water Street, in Ipswich! Come sing carols with Buddy the Elf as we await Santa’s arrival. Jingle Bells will be available for purchase. Jingle your bells and follow our honored guest and Buddy the Elf on a festive “Jingle Bell Walk” along Water Street to the Ipswich Town Hall at 45 Green Street. Keep a sharp eye out for the “Grinch”!
Come to the the annual Jingle Bell Walk in Manchester! Santa will arrive at Masconomo Park by boat and lead the children in a parade around the park and then be available for pictures. There will also be a petting zoo, crafts, face painting, a candy cane hunt, refreshments and a visit from Mrs. Claus! Sponsored by the Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce, Manchester Community Center, Manchester Mothers' Club and the Parks and Recreation Department.
The Marblehead Festival of Arts invites families to their holiday arts-and-crafts show at Marblehead Arts Association the first weekend in December. The market place is held in conjunction with the Marblehead Chamber of Commerce Marblehead Christmas Walk, a town-wide event. Each year the market place has many local and regional artists who bring their arts and products to Abbot Hall.
Come see over 100 locally and professionally made gingerbread creations on display at the historic Jeremiah Lee Mansion in Marblehead, MA during this year's Marblehead Christmas Walk. Community members, businesses, and families are building and donating dozens of gingerbread houses, boats and local buildings that will be on display and available for raffle throughout the weekend. The Marblehead Christmas Walk Parade takes place after Santa Arrives in Marblehead. The Parade begins at 11:45 and the route takes approximately one hour, traveling from Front St., State St., Washington St., Five Corners, Atlantic Ave. Gerry Street, down Pleasant St. and concluding at the National Grand Bank parking lot. Participants need to line up and be ready to roll at 11:30am.
Come to the State Street Landing in Downtown Marblehead to welcome Santa as he arrives by lobster boat! There's plenty of photo ops and Santa's arrival is followed by the Marblehead Christmas Walk Parade.
The Tree Lighting will take place at the new National Grand Bank Parking Lot on Pleasant Street in Downtown Marblehead this year! Enjoy the festive atmosphere and live music as the town lights the yearly Christmas tree! Festivities begin at 5:30pm with the tree lighting at 7pm.
Kids are invited to the The Marblehead Museum & Historical Society for a gingerbread workshop! Come create your own entry for the 2024 Marblehead Gingerbread Festival. Two workshops are schedule for kids ages 2-4 (with adult) at 1pm and kids 5-10 are at 3pm. Registration required.
