In a unique collaboration between the NH Association for the Blind and the NH Art Association, the Children's Museum of New Hampshire is hosting an exhibit titled 'Art Beyond Vision' through May 28, 2012. This curated collection of textural paintings, fiber arts and sculpture welcomes visitors to open their minds to a fresh new way of experiencing the beauty of art.

Shapeshifting is a common theme in today's fiction and science fiction, but did you know this theme has been present in Native American art, dance, music and story telling for millennia? Peabody Essex Museum invites you to explore this concept of transformation through paintings, ceramics, textiles, photographs, videos and monumental installations drawn from collections in the United States, Canada and Europe!
Don't miss a special exhibit beginning with a lecture in honor of National Recycling Day. The art show will feature the work of Nina Cassel Samoiloff (read more about her HERE on Good Morning Gloucester) and the pieces she creates using elements she finds washed up on the beaches of Rockport. Her work will be on display in the NOAA Fisheries lobby weekdays from 8:00am – 4:30pm from November 15th until December 15th.
