Pumpkin Fest is a family-friendly afternoon full of fun activities that includes pumpkin carving, activities and games, arts and crafts, a DJ and costume dance party, bouncy house and face painting from 12:30-3 p.m. All activities are open to all and free. The children's costume parade starts at 3:15 p.m. and the pumpkin illumination is at about 5 p.m. at Weaver Pond in Patton Park.

Salem will be getting all sorts of adorable and spooky as Creative Salem and Phoenix School host the Wicked Wednesday Children's Costume Parade & Party in Downtown Salem. The parade will start at Riley Plaza and will head up Washington St. to Lappin Park and then head down the Pedestrian Mall to the fountain stage where the kids will have a dance and costume party. At the stage, there will be kids music and performances by some character actors featuring popular costumed character personalities and more.
Kids and their families are invited to the Ipswich Museum for an afternoon of Halloween fun! Join us in the courtyard of the Heard House for old fashioned games, scary stories, a haunted house, costume parade, and more. Costumes are encouraged!
Wenham will be celebrating its 375th Anniversary with a Parade and Community Day on Saturday, September 8th. The Parade will kick off at the Buker School at 10:00 am and conclude around 11:30 am at Pingree Park. At the park, residents, family, and friends can enjoy food, musical performances, kids games, and inflatables, a Wenham Police vs. Fire Softball game, and join the 375th Anniversary Community in a "Happy Birthday" Wenham drone photo.

Maritime Gloucester and Cape Ann Museum is collaborate for a fun Trails & Sails 2019 event! Following a mid-day sea serpent sculpture parade from the Cape Ann Museum to Maritime Gloucester, families will create mash-up “sea monsters” with inspiration from the creatures in the newly renovated Sea Pocket Aquarium. This event is free and open to the public.
Note: Due to the weather, these events have been postponed to Labor Day Monday. The Mayor's Race is a major part of the Gloucester Schooner Festival 2019, where participating schooners in the weekend activities compete for for the Esperanto Cup, Ned Cameron Trophy and Betty Ramsey Trophy off Eastern Point and East Gloucester.
Friends of Newburyport Trees invites you to a celebration of our city's trees. We will have a preschool activity, snack-time, and a gift to take home. Siblings are welcome. Please bring a snack and a blanket to sit on.
