Lynch Park has been turned into the Midway! Stroll on down through the field and get some cotton candy and popcorn while you enjoy the sights and sounds of a traditional carnival. Games, Dunk Tank, Prizes, etc. Great activities for kids! Purchase tickets at the park with cash. Kids can generally enjoy all of the games and activities for under $10. There will also be special carnival food available for purchase that day. This event is great for kids up to 12 years old, but all are welcome! This event is well attended by the Recreation Park Camps and other summer camps.

Grasshopper & Friends, children’s enrichment performers. Interactive story songs are Elijah’s specialty with a gentle humorous appeal. From the wake up song, “Tick Tock, Alarm Clock” to a hide n’ seek adventure with “Willa the Worm”, children love to participate. A master at making kids hop, wiggle and giggle, Elijah is joined by Emma the “Go Go Green” Bean, The Orange Farmer and their puppet pals, Willa the Worm and Weatherbee Frog. Elijah and his friends teach kids funky dance moves like the Bumpity Bump and the Pumpkin Dance, all the while promoting a message of social harmony.
Traditional Lobster Bake, Chowder, Chicken, etc. available all day at Lynch Park. Dine at picnic tables under the tent while listening to local bands. Local businesses, politicians, and non-profits will be set up around the park to share information with you. There will also be Kids Spirit of Lobster Costume Contest at 2pm. Kids can dress in their best Lobster Fest costume and win great prizes!
