The Gloucester Sidewalk Bazaar attracts more than 5000 visitors to celebrate in downtown Gloucester. This annual summer tradition, now in its 65th year, hosts multiple vendors, street food, live music and children’s activities. The event features downtown merchants and restaurants as well as artists, crafters and more!

Our Summer Market will feature more than 25 Cape Ann inspired Artisans, Crafters and Makers offering nature and coastal inspired jewelry, pottery, painting, photography, woodworking, fiber arts, candle, body care, hand harvested artisanal sea salts, and much more.
The Pops in the Park concert on is a celebration not only of the 400+ years of Gloucester history but of the 70+ years of the Cape Ann Symphony. With the majestic backdrop of Gloucester Harbor this free outdoor event will be a special evening of music. It is a gift from the Cape Ann Symphony to the city we love.

Enjoy this fun and informative presentation by a herpetologist and visit with bugs, frogs, snakes, lizards, a tortoise, and the American alligator. This event is hosted by Sawyer Free Library and will be held at Captain Lester S. Wass American Legion Post 3, (8 Washington Street.)
Talewise presents Saving Earth Together, a story and science adventure STEM Program! Two unlikely heroes must learn to WORK TOGETHER to stop a super polluting mastermind. Throughout the story, you’ll help the performer conduct amazing science experiments all about air pressure, the laws of motion, chemical reactions, and much more. You won't want to miss this high energy, interactive, science-based and fun show!
The Gloucester Maritime Rendezvous celebrates the combined heritage of two great fishing towns and their connection to the sea. Gloucester, Massachusetts and Luneburg, Nova Scotia. In this annual tradition, once more the Gloucester International Dory Racing Committee hosts the Canadian Dory Rowing Association from Nova Scotia to compete against the best dory rowers from Gloucester, going head-to-head on Gloucester's historic harbor. Boat tours and deck tours happen daily and there are many opportunities available to sail aboard the particitpating vessels!
Cape Ann Art Haven hosts some great art activities for the family during April vacation week. At the Riverside Community Center on corner of Veterans Way and Patriots Circle, we will have all the supplies for a family to create art together! This is not a drop off event. Please wear appropriate clothing for sometimes messy art!
Kids Unlimited and The Adventures of Scuba Jack present Gloucester's Halloween Party, sponsored by the Gloucester City Council. The Fred Kyrouz Auditorium will be decked out with friendly ghost and goblins. There will be numerous events and activities including a dance contest, games, piñatas, a costume contest, prizes, free photos, popcorn, refreshments, goodie bags and much more.
