Join Hamilton-Wenham Public Library as they host a planting party to get your garden started! Choose one of three Growums gardens kits to use - pizza garden, herb garden or taco garden! Each kit contains magically expanding soil to plant different herbs or vegetables. All material provided. This program is designed for children 4 and up. Please pre-register with the Children’s librarian in person.
Take a practice SAT/ACT (half SAT, half ACT) test, complete with results, provided free of charge by Kaplan Test Prep.
A proctored SAT/ACT practice test shows students what to expect in a test-like environment. Students will receive a comprehensive analysis of their performance from Kaplan, detailing individual strengths and weaknesses. Bring #2 pencil and a calculator to use during the test.
Registration is required, space is limited.
The Fast Chicks 5k is a Hamilton-Wenham Mother's Club sponsored community fundraiser race that celebrates active women and raises funds for a selected charity each year. There's also a FREE kids race - a 100 yard dash! Now in it's third year, the race begins and ends at Patton park and funds raise this year will go to the Wellspring House, a North Shore organization based in Gloucester that empowers individuals and families to live more secure lives through basic needs assistance, education and job training.

Sawyer Free Library is hosts Grace Rose Papp, Miss Massachusetts High School America, for a 'Crown that C.A.R.E.S' presentation for elementary school aged kids! Grace is a multi-talented young woman who tours the state delivering the C.A.R.E.S (Create a Respectful Environment in Schools) program's message to kids. The program teaches kids skills for dealing with bullying and harassment prevention. Grace teaches tolerance for a safe and bully-free environment at school.
Have you ever wished you could touch a whale? From the inside? Internationally renowned Whale Specialist and Educator, Cynde McInnis, introduces us to her 43 foot inflatable Humpback Whale Nile, and teaches us all about the beloved marine mammal.

The Community House Of Hamilton & Wenham welcomes local elementary school teacher Bryan Sheckells for Fun Science for Preschoolers. The kids will put on their thinking caps and explore interesting topics like Weather, Engineering and Dinosaurs.
Two sessions available for children ages 3-5.

Community House Of Hamilton & Wenham has a new music program for children. First Steps in Music is a parent and child music class designed to maximize each child’s natural musical talent. Each class is a musical workout consisting of activities and melodies that encourage the development of “tuneful, beatful and artful” children.
