Let’s learn about whales! Walk inside a giant, inflatable humpback whale to learn more about these magnificent creatures. Learning about whales is also a great way to think critically about what you can do to help the wild world and our oceans.
Join Parker River Staff for the week of February Vacation (Feb. 20-23) for our youth drop off program 9:00am - 11:30am. Participants will learn about the the wonderful wildlife that call Parker River home in the winter, including adaptations for survival, animal evidence, and winter habitats. Celebrate National Children's Dental Health Month with students from Essex Tech Dental Program at North Shore Children's Museum. Children will enjoy stories, songs, and activities about teeth and dentists and will have an opportunity to practice their brushing skills! Families of all ages are welcome.
Spend your vacation week visiting another world (at Amesbury Public Library)! This program is a self contained quest and so you can come if you've never played D&D or a roleplaying game before or if you are a huge fan (and meet some other fans)! This Session is specifically organized for kids ages 11-14.

Join the specialists of Wingmasters for a live birds of prey demonstration at the Hamilton Wenham Public Library. Birds of prey are also known as raptors, and they are hunting birds characterized by hooked beaks and powerful grabbing feet armed with sharp talons (the word raptor comes from a Latin word that means "to seize"). Raptors can also boast the best eyesight and the sharpest hearing in the animal kingdom. Raptors include hawks, falcons and owls, and this presentation, which incorporates 8 live birds of prey gives an overview of these different categories.
