It visits permaculture farms, urban agriculture projects, community-owned renewable projects, local currencies, creative schools, ambitious recycling projects. Come to the Firehouse center for the Arts for a showing of the latest Warren Miller Masterpiece! Since 1949, ski families have cheered the official kickoff of winter with the ski film company that started it all. As the family grows, the traditions grow richer. The annual tradition is back to salute the start of winter. The world’s biggest name in snowsports cinema—Warren Miller Entertainment—celebrates its 68th ski and snowboard film with downhill thrills, global adventure and a nod to those that taught us to slide on snow.

Rockport Halloween Happenings is celebrating its third year with an expansion of the Halloween festivities to include Rockport PTO Pumpkin Carving and Decorating, Pumpkin Illumination in the heart of Rockport at Dock Square, and a family-friendly movie night to cap off the evening!
Grab a blanket and the kids and head over to Salem Common at dusk for an outdoor showing of some favorite family-friendly movies that will get you in the mood for a spooktacular Halloween! Each there will be a different movie through October, so come to one or all!
