Enjoy some particularly wonderful wildlife-themed films on the big screen in the comfort of the refuge visitor center’s awesome auditorium...for FREE!Experience for yourself the “cinematic WOW!” created by our state-of-the-art laser projector, with surround sound! The following films will be shown on the following dates. No preregistration; simply show up!

Gloucester Meetinghouse Foundation hosts a fun day of film and community fun for families at Cape Ann Community Cinema! It opens with refreshments at 10:00am and runs to 4:00pm. The event features two great movies plus games, prizes, face-painting, presentations, making indoor snowmen from white socks (bring extras!) and a pizza lunch. Please note this event is free for kids (best for ages 6-12) and their parents/guardians, thanks to the generosity of our Series Sponsors.

Join Glen Urquhart School in Beverly Farms for a free screening of Won't You Be My Neighbor. From Academy Award-winning filmmaker Morgan Neville (20 Feet from Stardom), "Won't You Be My Neighbor?" takes an intimate look at America's favorite neighbor: Mister Fred Rogers. A portrait of a man whom we all think we know, this emotional and moving film takes us beyond the zip-up cardigans and the land of make-believe, and into the heart of a creative genius who inspired generations of children with compassion and limitless imagination.

Join the Newburyport YWCA for screening of Dawnland, as part of their Martin Luther King Day observances. At our annual Martin Luther King, Jr. event we will be screening the film Dawnland, “a documentary about cultural survival and stolen children: the first truth and reconciliation commission for Native Americans.” Following the screening there will be a question and answer period with Mishy Lesser, Learning Director for the Upstanding Project. A light dinner and dessert will be served.
