Hosted by the Danvers Rotary, the Danvers Farmers Market has fresh fruit produce and other locally made foods every Wednesday June through August in the heart of Danvers Massachusetts. Farm fresh vegetables, fruit, honey, maple syrup, eggs, herbs, flowers, local artisans and featured community initiatives as well as lively entertainment weekly! The Ipswich Farmers Market vision is “To support a vibrant local food-based economy and help nurture a more sustainable community.” The market features local food growers and purveyors, crafters and artists, as well as family activities and live music every week.
The Rockport Farmers' Market is a small market that runs each Saturday through the Summer (June - early October). Sponsored by the Rockport Exchange, the market is limited in size due to the size of the Harvey Park - a quaint setting in the heart of downtown found on the corner of Mount Pleasant Street and Broadway, across from the entrance to T-Wharf.

This is a great community resource that strengthens social bonds and interactions, and helps local food producers by creating a direct to consumer channel for their produce and other goods! Calling all runners and walkers--and their children--who love our North Shore beaches. Sign up for the Annual Coastal 5K Run for the Beach! Enjoy a green road race* on a great course while helping to protect our local beaches and marine life! The course starts at Dane Street Beach, goes through wooded residential side streets to the Lighthouse at Hospital Point, loops back through historic Beverly to Independence Park and ends with more ocean views.
As part of COASTSWEEP 2017, Joppa Flats Education Center and Parker River National Wildlife Refuge encourage volunteers to come to Plum Island and help in the statewide effort to keep our coastline clean. COASTSWEEP is the annual statewide cleanup of Massachusetts coastal and riverine environments. Over more than 20 years, COASTSWEEP has engaged thousands of volunteers in cleaning hundreds of miles of shoreline and riverbanks.
