Experience the age-old tradition of maple sugaring at Ipswich River Wildlife Sanctuary! The warm days of late winter awaken the flow of sap in the maples resulting in sweet-smelling, billowing clouds of steam rising from the sugarhouse. On a naturalist-guided walk, learn how to identify a sugar maple, observe tapping and sap collection methods, watch the sap being boiled down in the sugarhouse, and get a sweet taste of the final product.
The House of the Seven Gables is bringing back our Welcome Home Days this February school vacation. Each day of the week we will be offering free admission to particular local towns’ residents. Tickets should be purchased in person with a valid ID or recent utility bill with appropriate address.

Participants are invited to bring their own recycled papers or choose from the many beautiful papers in the CAM Studio. Join the Trustees for pizza at the Farm! Tired of being cooped up in the house? So are we! Join us for a throwback to summer at this outdoor wood-fired pizza pop up event. Tickets include parking, access to the event, a complimentary hot cocoa-bar, fire pits on the farmhouse lawn and outdoor activities to entertain the kids. Food and beverage including pizza purchases will be charged separately.

Join the Friends of the Lynn Woods on this Trails & Sails walk through to Dungeon Rock to Stone Tower. Lynn Woods Reservation is the second largest municipal park in the greater Boston area. Visitors will have the opportunity to see these sites while walking in a beautiful urban forest, great for first time visitors and others who want to enjoy this historic park. Walk is on wide paths with plenty of room for enjoyment and does not require any previous hiking experience, good for all ages including children.
