This popular event begins with a workshop where participants construct model boats from provided kits at the Lee Mansion Gardens and ends with a competitive regatta at Redd's Pond. These small treasures are more than just toys—they really sail. This fun and educational activity is perfect for the whole family.
The Merrimack Valley Ship Model club will exhibit a wide range and variety of ship models displaying tiny miniatures, and modest rowing craft in contrast with ocean going vessels. MVSMC members will be at the exhibit demonstrating modeling techniques and sharing back ground stories about the models on display.

Plum Island Airport RC Club's Jet Rally is a 5 day event of RC fun! Come for 5 full days of non stop RC Jet action at the Plum Island Airport. There will be pilots from all over the East Coast and Canada showing off their impressive aircraft and piloting skills.
Hundreds of models ships of all types will be on display in downtown Peabody! There will be all types, made from wood, plastic paper and miscellaneous media and created by hobbyists and professionals from the Greater Boston area. Many of these models are incredibly detailed works of art worthy of museum display. Come see these wonderful pieces and meet the people who make them! You'll learn about their skills and hear some great stories, and its a great time for all visitors. Please use the side entrance to the building.
