Over April School Vacation Week, join the Wenham Museum for a series of programs geared to children, parents, and adults. Offerings include art-making activities, a program inspired by the classic picture book, Miss Rumphius, a book signing, a trunk show, and an appearance by John Adams himself.
Don’t miss this chance to create a traditional child portrait! Advanced registration required. Sitting Fee is $33 per child. Framing and matting available for an additional fee. Professional silhouette artists Jean and Marcella Comerford from Portraits In Silhouette will be creating hand-cut keepsake portraits during April School Vacation Week at the museum. Silhouettes are a favorite gift for family and grandparents! These professional artists have over 25 years of combined experience!

What makes painting different from other art forms? Find out! Wear some old clothes and try painting at easels the museum will set up in Burnham Hall. Simple instructions, challenges, and materials will be provided.
The Wenham Tea House invites you to a breakfast for kids who love LEGOs! Kids will enjoy a breakfast buffet to enjoy along side an exhibit of unique and rare LEGO builds that are sure to impress. Participants will have a LEGO building workshop, and each child will receive a small LEGO building kit to take home.
Meet Cinderella against the magical backdrop of Ruth Sanderson’s fairytale illustrations in the museum’s new exhibit, A Magical Journey Through Fairytales. Cinderella will read stories and sing songs with visitors. Fairytale or magical dress-up attire encouraged! Space for this program is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Everyone's invited to enter Wenham Museum’s gingerbread contestand the Gingerbread Express! The holiday favorite Gingerbread Express model train layout brings spirit of the season to life in this winter wonderland of candy-covered cottages created by members of our community. This year’s theme is It Takes a Gingerbread Village. Stop by to vote for your favorite gingerbread house!
The Wenham Tea House invites you to a Children's Tea for a great afternoon of family fun, and they are thrilled to host a Tea with Mrs. Claus! Bring your children to see Mrs. Claus and get some tips and tricks that will make Santa feel right at home when he visits on Christmas eve!
