Schooner Ardelle will be launched at Maritime Gloucester on April 27 at 12:30!

Maritime Gloucester invites boating enthusiasts of all ages to the Spring launching of the Schooner Ardelle! Harold Burnham and his volunteer crew have been getting his beautiful Pinky Schooner Ardelle ready for another exciting season sailing form Maritime Gloucester and she's ready to launch! The launching will take place at the Maritime Gloucester Marine Railway, the oldest continuously operating marine railway in the United States.

Come to a Historical Weapons demonstration at the Manchetser Public Library

Manchester Public Library invites young adults to a Weapons demonstration by Gaurd Up! Family Swordsmanship Inc. On Manchester's  “half-day", kids will learn about sword history and techniques from medieval times through live demonstrations. Family Swordsmanship will share replicas of German long swords, Japanese swords, daggers and short swords. Kids Learn to Ice Skate Registration

Learn to Skate, Cape Ann Skating Club Kids and Adults learn to skate in Hamilton

Get your young hockey or figure skater off to a great start and sign up today for the next learn to skate session with the Cape Ann Figure Skating Club. Adult classes are available too. Learn to skate lessons for all ages and abilities offered in Hamilton and Gloucester.

Several sessions are offered so that the skaters have an opportunity to progress through many skating levels while strengthening their skills. Upon completion of the LTS program, children may wish to continue in the Basic Skills program, which teaches the stroking and turning skills required for figure skating and hockey programs.
