This guided hike on the property's Yellow and Blue Trails will offer scenic vistas of Boston and the unusual solstice stones arrangement at the top of Holt Hill, as well as a bog habitat and carnivorous plants!

The Independent School Fair at The Pike School in Andover, is an opportunity for families and students to meet with representatives from private schools, including day schools in the Boston area and boarding schools around New England. If you are considering the possibility of an independent school for your child for the Fall of 2020, now is the time to start looking. Attend and use this unique opportunity to meet with a number of schools under the same roof, meet representatives and gather information from boarding and day schools in New England and beyond.
All families interested in independent secondary schools are welcome and encouraged to attend this free event.
Celebrate National Trails Day at Whittier Hill Reservation! This hike will take us up and over Whittier Hill along a historic woodland way and over to Woodsom Farm Park and back. Meet at parking area for Whittier Hill Reservation at the end of Whitcher Court. Hike will go to Woodsom Farm and back Rolling hills. Please wear proper footwear (at least sneakers) and we suggest participants bring water, snacks, and bug spray. Rain cancels. Park at the small lot at the trailhead on Whicher Court or nearby on Friend Street, at the Town Park.

This guided hike on the reservation’s Blue Trail will offer scenic vistas of Boston and the unusual solstice stones arrangement at the top of Holt Hill, as well as panoramic skyline views from a large clearing at Elephant Rock at Boston Hill. Your knowledgeable guides can answer questions about the history of the property and its surrounding habitats.
The Phillips Academy Department of Music will present the Academy Chorus, Fidelio Society, and Chamber Orchestra in concert under the direction of Dr. Abbey H. Siegfried. Entitled “The Road Less Traveled,” this concert offers an assortment of American and Portuguese songs.
the Chamber Orchestras of Phillips Academy will present a concert in Cochran Chapel on the Phillips Academy campus. The Amadeus Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Elizabeth Aureden and Christina Landolt, will perform Ralph Vaughan Williams’ “Charterhouse Suite,” a suite of dances in the English style originally written for piano but orchestrated by James Brown in collaboration with the composer.
