Donkey Derby at Myopia

The Donkey Derby at Myopia Hunt Club in Hamilton is a fun way to raise funds for the Equine Rescue Network. The mission of the event is to ENJOY the day and raise awareness of donkeys, mules and other barnyard animals. Donkeys make great pets! They are affectionate, agile & athletic. There is no definition of a “DONKEY DERBY” because we made it up. Yes, there will be donkeys racing around, and perhaps a few mules, horses, goats or cows. There will be lots of people too – animals in costumes, food trucks and perhaps beer.

Middleton Food Truck Festival

Annual Gloucester Rotary Pancake Breakfast

The Rotary Club of Gloucester MA will hold its annual Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser on Saturday, August 19, 2023, from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in Stage Fort Park, located on Hough Avenue in Gloucester, MA. This popular event takes place concurrently with the Gloucester Waterfront Festival, which is sponsored by the Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce and is held in Stage Fort Park on Saturday-Sunday, August 19-20, from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. both days. A special free parking area is available for Pancake Breakfast attendees.

North Shore Cancer Run

The North Shore Cancer RUN will feature a 5K and 10K road race starting at the Cove Community Center in Beverly, MA. Both routes are along the scenic Beverly coast and are “out and back” courses. The cost to participate is $30 prior to the race, $40 on race day.

Waldorf School's Running of the Gnomes 5k

Waldorf School at Moraine Farm hosts their first ever 5K trail race through Moraine Farm! This is an exclusive opportunity to run on this private property, thanks to our Moraine Farm partners at Project Adventure. After the run enjoy a healthy picnic celebration with music, games and fun.
